All Aboard the On-Line School Bus to Learn About the Importance of Vinyl Products!

BATON ROUGE, La., July 20, 2011 ‒ As back-to-school season rolls around, it’s important to remember the vital role of vinyl and chlorine-based products in our lives.

No bus pass is needed to ride the bus or play the interactive game which teaches the benefits of vinyl and chlorine-based products – how they are durable, safe, weatherproof, easy to clean, corrosion resistant, and protect us from germs.

The bus is a program of Solutions Through Science, a partnership of vinyl and chlorine producers and users in Louisiana.  Similar on-line games for homes and hospitals are also available on the Solutions Through Science web site at www.stsla.org.

Solutions Through Science was established in 2000 to promote the manufacture of reliable and durable materials and products, and its members’ community activities and the safe operations of its chemical plants.  It works closely with The Vinyl Institute, the Chlorine Chemistry Division of the American Chemistry Council, and the Louisiana Chemical Association.

The Vinyl Institute represents the leading manufacturers involved in the production of PVC/vinyl resin in the United States, and promotes the value of PVC/vinyl products to society.
